This is an amazing, cozy, relaxing location to stay and unwind. What service. Real Gemütlichkeit as one expects in Germany. A perfect spot to launch drives or bike rides into the Schwarzwald. I did not want to leave

Hotel was very good . Evening meal in hotel restaurant was excellent . Everything had been so good I was looking forward to breakfast . Unfortunately breakfast was disappointing , even though I would still use the hotel again .

We loved staying in a small town and finding a modernly updated hotel room without sacrificing the old world look and feel. Breakfast was delicious and their dinner was authentic and we enjoyed it so much. We took the advice to request rooms in the back of the hotel where there is a stream right outside your door.

Great hotel in Black Forest
Great location, near Freiburg and several other picturesque Black Forest locations. Breakfast was fantastic. Owner was very accommodating and service could not have been better. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the country setting in the valley with vineyards all about. Recommend that you ask for maroon on the back side of the hotel as then,Ann street can be busy and loud. Breakfast was wonderful, dinner (extra charge) was one of the best we’ve had in 3 weeks traveling!

Excellent hotel. Highly recommend it. Beautiful room overlooking a river behind the hotel. First class breakfast in an upscale restaurant next door. Glottertal is a very picturesque village and the owners are very helpful and wonderful hosts.
