"Property was priced very low compared to others in the area but the rooms were in excellent condition. Breakfast was just enough and the staff was very helpful. 12pm check out is great so you can sleep in a bit. Would recommend this place, it provided everything we were looking for during a short stay in Amherst. "

Publick House Historic Inn and Country Motor Lodge

"I booked this accommodation at the last minute as a break during a long drive. While booking online I made a mistake of the reservation date. The person at reception was, however, very friendly and understanding, and managed to switch the reservation. I am very thankful for this. The place itself has a lot of character. It is an old wooden property, but it is well taken care of. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The area around the property is very pleasant. The complementary breakfast pastries from the bake shop were really good, and the apple pie, which I did not try, looked excellent. I would definitely come back if I am in the area."
