We read excellent review about the Oberoi and they responded to all our expectations. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was very attentive to details. Great hotel

We booked a weeks break with another couple, it was our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel was spotlessly clean and service was excellent. The food was great and also the themed restaurants were excellent especially the Alexandria. Kareem who worked on the 24hour lobby bar was funny, very polite and looked after us.

I really love this hotel. It’s so beautiful in a very quiet area of Makadi Bay. My room was huge, and I had a lovely view of the pool. I asked for a quiet room and they gave that to me. I had a few issues but I spoke to Hager (customer relations) and the General Manager and all was resolved quickly and I stayed on two extra days. The food is varied and there is a lot of it. If you see this at a low price, don't be put off. The place is good quality and the rooms/apartments are lovely and large. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Only slight disappointment was the temperature of the (otherwise sparkling) pool - a little bit nippy. The main drag - restaurants, tourist shops - are just a short walk away.

I loved everything about the hotel, especially the staff (Emad, Ehab and Elia at the pool) and Ahmed and Eva in the restaurant. The treatment of Othman the receptionist is excellent..... I do not recommend using the spa because the staff is very bad and the price list is not fixed. The hotel is close to the airport and you do not need to leave the hotel, it is a paradise

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller. The service was top notch, everyone was all very kind and accommodating. (From asking for breakfast boxes to late checkout — all my requests were met). The morning yoga included in the itinerary was such a bonus treat to my stay.
