"We had a wonderful weekend here and can’t recommend it enough. Beautiful property lovingly restored. The owners were perfect hosts and the hotel and gardens are a calming oasis in the middle of town. "One of the few hotels in Ghent that I saw and it is a lovely one. An interior atrium greets you upon arrival and Starbucks and dining options are in the main area. Breakfast is served in a separate room and there is a canal front terrace for drinks. My room had a pitched ceiling with large oak timbers and floors making it seem very European. While our stay was comfortable and the photos of the rooms are accurate there was no view of anything from any of the rooms which amounts to false advertising.
