"The property is very small (maximum of 6 guests), and is essentially a renovated old farmhouse. That’s what makes it so quaint and unique, plus it’s very quiet. The host is extremely friendly, and since it’s a B&B we had a really nice breakfast cooked for us in the morning. The only downside (thankfully we didn’t run into this issue) is that the two “standard” rooms share a bathroom. I feel like this should be stated VERY clearly and up front in the listing. "We travelled with a group of 5 couples and stayed in the Welty House, known for being part of the ghost tours in Gettysburg. The rooms were decorated in period furniture. There was a beautiful courtyard with tables and chairs where we were able to gather. The beds are very firm, so this made it difficult for some to sleep. Rooms have electric fireplaces (except the Georgia room) which warmed up the rooms nicely. They moved me from the Georgia Room after the first night as the gas fireplace was...

" The first night the room was too hot because we did not not think about turning the heater off. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping. The hospitality was wonderful and breakfast was great. We learned a lot of Civil war history. We were surprised to find that the other couple staying there was from our hometown also."

"The area was beautiful and very quite! We loved the cabin we stayed in. While we did run into some minor issues, staff was VERY accommodating and attentive. We hope to come back and would love to stay on the grounds again. They love dogs and that made us feel more comfortable.
