The room was much smaller than pictures let on. Pull out couch was broken the curtain rod for the back door was broke and the back door handle was broken. The dishes that were there when arrived were dirty.

Mold, terrible communication, no mattressesp

Check in was a disaster with them, not providing a check-in code until 30 minutes before and putting everyone in a very anxious state, even after hours on the phone with customer service they also sent me a contract last minute and charge for parking, which was not included in the reservation originally. I booked a stay that was categorized as pet friendly on Hotels.com, the contract that I signed same day said pets were not allowed. The property itself was extremely small and not kept up with, walls had signs of mold, including black ceilings, and there were not even real mattresses on the bunkbed. One had a beanbag and one had an inflatable mattress. I don’t care about this kind of thing, but all the sheets were polyester and Felt like saran wrap. The only saving Grace is that it was across the street from the beach and two blocks from the convention center, where we had to be. We stayed one night and left. If you are not a couple of teenagers, just wanting to enjoy the weekend, close to the beach, this is not for you.

No handle bars, property on very busy street

We arrived during night time, lobby closes at 11pm where you HAVE to get parking, whether renting private or local. They lady security guard was very helpful but could have more lobbyists, especially since casa Del Mar know how many rentals are booked. I requested handicap accessibility, for this there are 4 elevators, but the room I was rented did not have hand rails in bathrooms and tub was wobbly and slippery! Also the hallway in picture is half the size, unable to fit wheelchair. I found a cleaning card that stated the room was cleaned on the 6th, we arrived on the 10th, it sooo humid, if your sensitive to mold, dust and humidity—I suggest you ask them to touch up room closer to your arrival and leave a/c running for your arrival. Unfortunately I did find hair in the bathroom when I sat to use toilet, i the corner by shower—there it was!! Even though the facility is listed as a family friendly place, I ran into a lot of partying and car chases, motorcycles driving through are the loudest, kept waking us up.
