"Clean room better "

"Great location! Lovely and helpful staff. Comfortable bedding. I was there celebrating my birthday and even though I didn't mention it, they surprised me with a delicious cake on my birthday. Another great amenity is their "small guest room" you can use for up to 30 minutes to freshen up, shower, etc upon arrival before checking in and after checking out. In my case I arrived at 9 AM and, understandably, my room wasn't ready. But I was able to shower and change clothes after my red-eye flight. I was also able to shower on my last day before departing to the airport at night. Would definitely stay here again."

"I was very disappointed with my room. The communal areas look fantastic but standard room was worse than basic. First room the sliding patio door had no lock so had to move as I do not feel safe as a solo female traveller. Both the rooms had a literal hole in the wall with make shift cupboard doors covering it meaning the room was very noisy. I complained on the “how was your check in” email and was told someone would speak to me that day to resolve. I left 4 days later without this happening. This was my 3rd hotel in Brazil and 2nd in Rio and was the worst and most expensive. "

"The front desk staff was very helpful. It’s in the perfect location in Rio. It’s at the Apex of Ipanema Beach and Copacabana Beach. The rooms were a bit small, but had everything that I needed. I would also recommend a room with a view. The courtyard view is facing another apartment. "

"Breakfast is included but not great. Inside the room, there were broken appliances. It needs renovation but overall is ok"

"I arrived 45 min early but the front desk staff said I could only check in at the specified time. At the time, he took a key out and gave it to me - they had rooms available 45 min before but made me sit in the lobby. I guess you get what you pay for. The room itself was clean. No views. I returned to the room around midnight and wanted a hot shower but the hot water tap was not working. Towels also didnt feel clean. Everything else was impersonal. If you just want a place to sleep for 7-8 hours in a good location, this is good. You only get what you pay for - maybe less "
