We had a few problems with our accommodation at the start of the holiday but these were quickly resolved. This hotel was very spacious, modern and peaceful. Room was comfortable and tasteful. Bed was huge and nice bathroom. Was cleaned every day if required. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and well kept. Most guests were older couples, mainly German, which meant it was nice and quiet with no loud drunk Brits if you know what I mean 😉. We only booked last minute but it was more than we expected....not far from airport, quick efficient service when we arrived. Apartment was amazing, very clean everything available, beautiful view from the room, private pool, if your looking for a luxury, laid back, quiet holiday then this is the place. Nothing is too much for the staff very helpful always smiling....we will be back

Nice hotel, lovely rooms and amazing food! Close to supermarket and shops and numerous restaurants and bars. A 3 min walk from the beach. Has a small shop on site for gifts and booking excursions. My advice would be to book a sea view room (away from the hustle and bustle of the evening and pool entertainment) and go half board to take advantage of the amazing food. Such a perfect holiday! Easy to find, great food, close to beach, shops, restaurants. Lovely staff. Huge luxury beds. Amazing showers! Gorgeous pool, spa and gym. Hotel entertainer Beatrix was great!

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, ideally located close to the beach. We decided to go with breakfast only which was very nice. There is the town of Morro Jable 5 minutes taxi ride away which has some lovely restaurants and bars at the seafront. This is where we went for dinner as we didn't want to be "tied" to the hotel every evening. Would definitely recommend the hotel and location.

Wonderful hotel with excellent facilities. Large pool, plenty of sun beds. Buffet meals, excellent choices with meat/fish freshly cooked as required. Rooms large with balcony and very clean. Service very efficient, hairdryer did not work and was changed for a new one the same day. Entertainment provided, different show every night mostly quite good especially the Lennon and McCartney tribute pair. Thanksfully very few children at this hotel. Great break. Food was really good and varied. The weather was surprisingly good right up to Christmas Day itself which started windy and slightly overcast but soon cleared up. Only issues were lift broken down for a couple of days and bathroom could have done with a decorate/refurb.

This is our second time to this hotel and we can honestly say that we were not disappointed. Everything was just as amazing as it was last year. The food is to die for, so much to choose from and the quality was like nothing you can compare to. This was our third stay at the Calypso. There is nothing to say negatively about the hotel. Many locals and some hotel staff have a better command of German than English because of the number of German guests staying in this area.

Nice for a low key relaxing holiday. Activities and food geared towards German tourists but still plenty to do and u had a relaxing time
