We stayed for just one night but we were very impressed with our stay in our family studio. Everything was of a very high standard and comfortable. The location is very peaceful, a short walk from Ano Mera which is a small but pretty town with a lovely square surrounded by restaurants. About 15 mins in a Taxi from the airport/port. Mykonos has changed since we last visited in 2012. This hotel is ideally sited for the airport but it's only a 20 minute walk into Mykonos Town. There is also the local buses which stop right outside the hotel.The owners are lovely people from collecting us at the port, to giving us help and advice, to dropping us off at the airport. Beautiful property and they upgraded me to a suite which was so nice. Very stylish and spacious and a perfect location near the port to save on taxi fees. I only stayed one night between my flight arriving and getting a ferry the next day, but ir would have been very lovely to stay longer.and enjoy such a gorgeous place. One slight negative point was that there was no reception desk (under construction) and I struggled to get phone signal to contact the posted number which was a bit scary alone...

Hotel is lovely with great views of Mykonos. And very close to the centre. Very friendly staff like most Greeks. There are steep steps to enter so probably not one for people with mobility issues Mykonos itself, although lovely visually, is a bit of a tourist trap for food. The restaurants are mostly catfish and 2 to 3x the price with half the quality of traditional greek tavernas. Be aware of this.

I had the best time at The Olia. Really special location with a view that changes every five minutes. Amazing staff who give a big welcome that grows over duration of stay - friends have been made and I suppose the biggest compliment is that I will return there next summer for more of the same. It feels like home if you give in to it so do just that! The chef is excellent so try the grilled fresh fish...worth every penny. The whole experience was joyous.
