Seattle Airport Marriott

"We missed our connection in Seattle and needed a room for a few hours. We were able to hop on the shuttle and get dropped off at the hotel as the shuttle runs every 15 minutes. The hotel is older but well maintained and the room had everything we need for a 5-hour stay. The front desk was able to give us toothpaste packets and disposal toothbrushes to use as we did not have our luggage with us. The only negative experience was once I booked the room, I got a message saying the hotel check-in closes at 12:00 AM and no one is available for check in overnight. We were on our way to the hotel after midnight and I was super worried we would be locked out and not have a way to check in and access our room. Turns out there is a 24-hour reception, so it was totally fine. However, the message we received from the hotel through Hotels.com caused a bunch of unnecessary stress and anxiety. I recommend they update that message, so it is accurate. Otherwise, I would recommend the hotel as it is a quick drive from the airport and has everything you need for a short-stay during a layover."

"They advertise a king bed but it’s really a queen. Only 1 small restaurant in the place that is very overpriced. There should be coffee and water available in the lobby at all times."

"I liked that they had lemon water and hot coffee available at all times. The breakfast was hot and good. What I didn't like: I had to go thru 3 irons before I got one that worked and the drink and snack machines were directly across from my room and he came and filled them up in the super early hours of the morning!"

"We’ve stayed here several times because we love all the conveniences—located next to airport, airport shuttle provided, laundry facilities onsite, free breakfast is good, microwave and fridge in room, awesome restaurant on the same lot! We will keep coming back!"

"Everything seemed very new, clean and very well appointed. When we arrived via the airport shuttle there were two reception desks open to greet us and get us signed in. It was a simple process that took only a few minutes. There are two sets of two elevators so there was no problem getting up to our floor. The elevator requires a room key to make it operate when going up to the room. That is a nice security feature as the Seattle area is home to many homeless people that frequent the streets and buildings. We tried to flag down the shuttle at the airport and it went by us to a specific stop. Unlike other shuttles that stop at various locations when flagged down. We had towait half an hour for the next shuttle. There were others who were also waiting who did not make it on the last shuttle. When we left the stop there were at least ten people who had to wait for the next shuttle. That was a problem. We had an early flight and caught an early shuttle at 4:30AM. The weekend driver, Richard, was a great man who got us to the airport with some narrative along the way. We would have stayed on with him had we not been headed for our plane! We had dinner in the Indian restaurant for something different. I am still not sure what we ordered, but it was all very good. The portions were more than adequate and very tasty. All in all we had a very nice stay in a very clean and comfortable room. No complaints other than the lack of shuttle space."

"The room was clean and well equipped. Staff was helpful but not particularly friendly. The pool was cold and the hit tub was not working. The airport shuttle timing and driver were excellent."
