"Nice room near the lift as requested. Enjoyed a couple of drinks in the cosy bar in the evening. Appreciated the coffee bags in the room. The location is fantastic for exploring the city. Breakfast was very reasonably priced but wouldn’t bother again. The sausage and bacon were nice quality but spoiled by overcooking. The fruit salad was just a mix of melon and pineapple. Our bags were looked after without fuss, while we wandered around the next day. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"We had a great stay - the huge bed was really comfortable, the spacious room was great, everything was spotless; we loved the modern bathroom. There was no view from our room, but the staff were super helpful and made a fuss of our dog and brought her welcome bowls of water in the bar every day. We really appreciated the extra pillows and the kettle in our room too. There was a good selection at breakfast, although the full hot menu was only available one morning. We should have asked for a tray to save us going to and from the restaurant to the (dog friendly) bar to eat. We loved the stylish refurbished bars, and enjoyed the bar games. Shame the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, as the food looked amazing in the photos but the bar meals were ok. Better outside signage would be beneficial; we nearly missed the hotel entrance several times in the car as there was nothing when approaching from the left. But a great stay, and conveniently situated."

"Staff are very friendly and welcoming, been there a number of times before, as a stop before we jump on Le shuttle the rooms and everything was great, but a little bit disappointing with the breakfast before we had breakfast in a bag this time. It was laid out, but all of the croissants and baked goods were so dry"
