A bit old, but it’s acceptable. Receptionist is pretty helpful and friendly. Location is okay, still need to walk a bit far to different places.

The property was good value for your money. The breakfast was included and great. The hotel is very old but it was very clean. The front desk staff allowed me to sit and read until I was able to check into my apartment. I would definitely stay there again for a short stop over.

Mi è stata assegnata una camera per disabili che era al piano semi-interrato. Questo significa che nel bagno non c'era il bidet, che il water era molto alto e scomodo ed il lavandino invece molto basso e altrettanto scomodo. Inoltre, la tenda era staccata dagli anelli in più punti dando un'idea di squallido oltre a non garantire alcuna privacy. Pulizia non adeguata.

Als Einleitung kann ich sagen, dass dieses Hotel definitiv nicht 3 Sterne wert ist. Hauptkritik ist, dass wir den ganzen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gefroren haben. Zwar haben wir nach täglichen Beschwerden unsererseits nach 2 Nächten ein neues Zimmer erhalten, aber leider hat dies die Situation nicht wesentlich verbessert. Das Heizkonzept des Hotels ist völlig fehl am Platze. Als Heizung wird die Klimaanlage genutzt, welche an der Wand auf Deckenhöhe montiert ist. Dies hat dazu geführt, dass zwar an der Decke warm war, aber nicht auf Höhe der Zimmerbewohner, also uns. Ergebnis war, dass wir erkältet vom Aufenthalt zurück gekommen sind. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt betrifft das Badezimmer mit Dusche. Das war kein Badezimmer mit einer Duschkabine, sondern eher eine Dusche mit eingebautem Waschbecken und Toilette. Wenn man geduscht hat, hat man den ganzen Raum geflutet und die sonstigen Gerätschaften nass gespritzt. Beim Personal haben sich wenigstens ein paar Angestellte bemüht, aber manchen war es auch ziemlich egal. Auf jedenfall ist ein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel nicht zu empfehlen.

We can say this hotel is ok for a quick visit, nevertheless, there's some things we found not of our liking. First, the shower is not like in the pictures, you can see it was "installed" as an extra of the bathroom, it is only separated by a shower curtain and it is pretty much next to the toilet, quite uncomfortable, PLUS, the water pressure was bad. Our window was next to an outside AC machine, so all night was quite loud and it was hard to sleep. Also, if you are on the West side of the building, you can hear the busy street all night. Commuting was also a hassle, it is not as close as we thought, taking over 20-30 min to get to the hotel from the center and every trip is 1.50EU p/person (90 min pass). However, the room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable, but still if you want to stay here, make sure they give you a room with a proper shower and facing East.

Good hotel not far from downtown

This hotel is around 15 minutes from the train station if you take the bus, or 10 if you take a cab. You can take a bus just two blocks away that will leave you right downtown Florence. Its price and location make it perfect for young couples and families. Nice breakfast also!
