We stayed at the Hotel David for four nights. The staff are welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff did an invisible but excellent job, leaving our room immaculate every day. Our twin room was spacious, with ample storage space, and a large shower room off a small hallway. The bed was very comfortable. There a wide variety of food for breakfast, including fresh fruit and freshly made pastries and cakes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind the 15-20-minute walk...

First class hotel. Excellent service. Very helpful staff.

This is a lovely horel in a quiet area of the old historic area. This staff were very welcoming and gave us a map and gave us advice on restaurants and attractions. A very comfortable bed with lovely linen and fluffy towels. Grat breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again.

Lovely new modern hotel in a fab location. Easy walking distance from everywhere. Breakfast, WiFi, Coffee 24/7 and mini bar topped up each day included in your room price. Good value for money. Would stay there again.

A friendly beautiful hotel

All very good will stay again

All good. Right in the centre but inside the hotel was quiet. No noise when trying to sleep

A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed using the gym and the bar too. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent hotel with lovely staff at breakfast!

Very pleased with our hotel, it had both character and a touch of luxury! Beautiful dining room also where we had breakfast, but service could certainly be improved there. Still it would not put us off staying here again when we return to Florence.

This hotel was wonderful. Very central location (could be too touristy for some). Staff were very kind and helpful, breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful! Thank you!

We have travelled all over the world and have to say our 4 day trip to Florence was fantastic and made even better by the hotel, the room and the staff could not have been better. Nothing we asked of them was a problem no matter how small and the hotel location is perfect. Dave and Heather

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel Minerva. The location is minutes from the train station on a lovely pedestrianised piazza, and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay - we hadn’t booked tickets to the sights but they managed to get us tickets for the Accademia to see the statue of David. Breakfast was fabulous, running until 10.30 on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, so no need to rush out of bed. We spent a lot...

Excellent staff. Especially the blond Lady at reception was very helpful.

Reception staff efficient and polite. Booked standard room but stayed in larger room /suite which would be ok for family. Bed a little hard would be only criticism. Ideal location. Rooftop bar a sun trap.

Palazzo Castri 1874 is an excellent boutique hotel located a short walk from the main Santa Maria Novella (SMN) railway station. It is within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and good places to eat. They have created a special place for guests to stay. All the staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, well equipped and many have views of the Duomo. The beautiful garden with its outside seating areas and small pool is an oasis of quiet and calm and is very...

Centrally located, high quality furnishings and bathrooms. Only thing is we would have liked to have one large bottle of complimentary water rather than having to refill ourselves. Breakfast was great and the lady who runs it kind and helpful. Enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend or stay again.

Great hotel to stay at. Perfect location. Very quiet too.

Booked the Ponte Vecchio Suites and Spa based on previous user ratings - and I was not disappointed. On arrival the staff were friendly and very helpful - check-in process was great. We were shown to the suite which was bigger and better appointed than I was expecting. Clean, airy and light. Sofa, dining table and chairs, kitchenette, bathroom with rainfall shower, huge bed (one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in!). Fridge, stove top, dishwasher, coffee machine, TV with Sky -...
