I was more than satisfied with my choice of hotel and it was exactly as illustrated on the website. I would stay here again and recommend the Dona Maria Hotel if you're looking for a comfy, well-positioned and friendly place to stay.

received room upgrade complimentary

Have been before, always excellent service.Nothing is too much trouble.

The hotel is amazing. Good pool and adequate gym, not too big but has an appropriate size for guest not to bump into each other. The food was very good and there was plenty of choice. On breakfast you could choose from continental breakfast or English. I especially appreciated the fruits and the sweets. I could spend all day eating those. The room was spacious, the location of the hotel is fantastic. In a walking distance you have the beach (where I ran almost every day), you have good...

Clean room Staff Beach view Excellent Thank you

We stayed in the Royal Suite which was very clean snd spacious with a wonderful large balcony. The swimming pool and outdoor spaces were well maintained and clean. The breakfast was fine, although the hot choices were very limited. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the centre of Coimbra in a nice quiet area. We would definitely stay here again.

Super experience.

Hotel is amazing people at work they’re super cool to work with the manager was great guy talk to us a few times But they need to get a gym

Breakfast for one could easily feed 4 the young lady on the desk was so helpful and explained all of the places to visit easy parking out front and apartment was spotless

We had a fantastic stay in the Sapentia. We were there for a week and got to know the local area well and built a nice relationship with the staff too. The Hotel is situated in great spot, some of the rooms have great views towards the river. The only issue is parking. The location is on a tiny street adjacent to the University. If you can, don’t have a car. If you do, prepare to have to move to about a bit potentially. The hotel helped us a lot and we managed ok, the car remained, miraculously,...

A really nice vibe, friendly and helpful staff.

Did not use spa. Food was hot, good with a great variety. Very large bed fresh bedding

This room certainly has a wow factor. My kids loved it immediately (10 & 12), and so did I. We loved the hot tub in the room and the sauna. The loo by the bed was a little tricky to navigate especially after the Vinho Verde from the nearby restaurants, which were excellent value.

Location and size of Hotel fantastic for centre of Coimbra. Walking in the gardens you wouldn't believe you were so close to the city centre. Staff were excellent and very attentive.

A really characterful property, we loved the room and appreciated the fantastic service and the abundant breakfast.

Great hotel right in the Center of Coimbra.
