"We got an Upgrade thought it was nice the view was good. The room was very out dated and the bed was terrible to sleep on. As well as the bathroom the whole time had a sulphate smell. The beach was lovely tho. "

"The 402 Hotel is an unique place. The owner welcomes you with home slipper and a big smile and everything feels like home. The rooms are comfortable and have beautiful colors, so has the living room, which is a little cozy corner of then house. The owner makes sure you are placed in the best spot, the kitchen and the bathroom are the most beautiful home/like rooms I have ever seen in a hostel! "Amazing staff could not get any better in frienliness,helpfilness and efficiency. Loved the roof top deck. Location is central at first it feels a bit grity8 but across street is a great b akery, a few feet away is a Farmacia, abit further ,very good self service laundry an 1 block away is the post office . Also 1/2 block great restsurant and enterance to the fun area with plazas shops and restsurant....you can walk up hill to University. Be sure to see the Fado performance. Breakfast is a small buffet with obligatory scrambled eggs,bacon and rolls. Good hot chocolate out of machine that does coffee also. The best part is the STAFF!. Rooms clean and functional, free parking was appreciated."
