Red Lion Inn & Suites Grants Pass

"This is an older style motel that has been remodeled extensively. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a nice TV, great air conditioning, Wi-Fi, etc. There is a coffee maker in the room along with a microwave and mini fridge. The bed was a bit too firm for my back but very clean with nice bedding and good pillows. The bathroom was extremely small and narrow, which made taking care of business a little challenging. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and breakfast is provided from 6 to 10 AM every day. It is truly a continental breakfast with no protein sources other than some yogurt and sausage gravy, with the typical muffins, cereal, etc. There are lots of fast food options close by and it’s not very far off the freeway. It’s a pretty basic, no frills property but reasonably priced. We were just passing through for one night and it met our needs. I would stay again."

"Check in was a breeze. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, a lot to choose from. The only negative we found that it got very noisy around outside our room around 8:00 when we were trying to sleep in after a long drive. We were on the main floor and it sounded like doors opening and closing about every 2 minutes for a half an hour. Maybe it was the cleaning crew."

"For the purpose of spending the night or 2, this hotel is perfect. We booked a suite and were surprised on how spacious the room was, and it came with 3 queen beds. The motel looks run down on the outside. The vicinity looks safe as it is within the business area, we did spot stragglers nearby but not too bothersome, someone forgot to roll up their car window and the car wasn't ransacked. The city does have dedicated park for homeless folks. Wifi did not work for us, bathroom is clean but a bit run down as well. We will definitely stay here again."

"Morrison's river lodge is truly unique. Every detail has been curated. From the dining room you look out onto a large grassy area with tall trees shading the lodge and lawn down to the river. The staff is superb! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there before we set out on our grand river rafting adventure!"
