I make this 17 hour 2-day from From Vancouver BC, Canada, most every month and have finally found my half-way Oasis. The Red Lion, Grants Pass is just terrific. And a solid value for the price. Clean, quiet, nicely updated rooms, nice decorated, perfect.

The staff was great, the room was clean with all the usual soap, shampoo, etc, and they also had a continental breakfast that was decent. Lots of small eateries nearby and we ate at Orchard Grill which was a little Hawaiian style diner. They served up a large portion at a reasonable price and it was tasty. The only thing about the hotel there was a strange smell in the hallways other than that it was a great stay
