"The hotel is ideally located for exploring the area. It is well appointed, spotlessly clean and the staff are all friendly and polite. Our room was excellent and the food was great. We had breakfast and dinner during outlr stay and both were excellent."

"Ideal for Thames Path walkers with a splendid garden overlooking the start of the navigable Thames. Chances are you'll get here early after the relatively short walk from Cricklade, so enjoy the bar and food offerings in the spacious pub building.
The room was a comfortable twin with everything you need for an overnight stay, while being across the car park from the pub itself, so noise was not a problem. If you're thinking of making an early start in the morning for the longer stage to Newbridge, better to get a bacon roll from Budgens on the High Street, as breakfast is from 9am."
"Lovely stylish and peaceful roadside spot. Fab lively restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Definitely not only half an hour into central Oxford though, unless you've got a sports car and leave at 3am."
"A warm welcome after a harrowing journey. Ideal rooms for us and our dog. The pub itself is a vibrant and active place with a good selection of beers and super food."
