A little far to walk from town center like 10 mins downhill from funicular …means 10 mins up to get back to top but we didn’t mind because we ate so much we needed the steps. Not steps but gradual inclines and alleyways . Felt secure and great host , very helpful and responsive for checkin ."

"This iconic hotel in Capri is the best. A lot of people like the Quisisana but to me there is no comparison. The Punta Tragara is located just a beautiful walk outside of the main plaza so you don’t get the day tripper noise and foot traffic. The staff is thoughtful, courteous, and all speak great English (sadly I don’t speak Italian!) The two swimming pools, photographed by Slim Aarons back in the day, are beautiful. Both restaurants (the Grill by the pool and the Michelin starred Le Monzu) are super. The rooms and amenities are gorgeous and offer several price points that, while expensive, are truly worth it. In a way, the star of the property is the wrap-around view of the Faraglioni rocks and surrounding cliffs. Overall, a great experience."
