My experience at this establishment was absolutely terrible and incredibly disappointing. From the moment an issue arose, the staff handled it in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. I was actually told that because I booked through Expedia, it meant I “didn’t pay.” That statement was not only inaccurate, but it also demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of how one of the world’s largest travel booking platforms works. I have booked hotels through Expedia many times over the years and have never encountered this type of treatment. Guests should not be blamed or made to feel responsible for payment processing agreements between a hotel and a third-party booking service. That is an issue for the business to resolve internally—not something to take out on paying customers. Instead of working to resolve the situation professionally, I felt patronized and disrespected. Rather than making me feel welcome, the staff’s attitude made my stay uncomfortable and, at times, intolerable. Hospitality should be about helping guests and finding solutions, not creating unnecessary stress or making them feel like they have done something wrong. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone. If a business chooses to accept reservations through mainstream travel services like Expedia, its employees should understand how those services operate and treat guests with courtesy and respect. Based on my experience, I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it to others.
