"We had a wonderful stay at DDO Relais, Pinato and her husband home. They were very welcoming and their house was stylishly designed, lovely large cool rooms, gorgeous spa and pool area. Excellent spread of sweet pastries at breakfast. "

"When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. "

"There are a couple of areas where this property falls short. Firstly it advertises parking but there is no parking, you are taking your chances on a very busy downtown street. You get charged another 10 euro a day if you dare to use the air conditioning and it must be in cash. Half a small pottle of yogurt each for breakfast is a touch inadequate. However the rooms are clean, tiny but clean. "

"Martina Franca is an excellent choice as a base for visiting the key cities in Puglia. Trulli d'Autore is a great B&B just outside the city - clean, private, friendly hosts. It has parking as you will need a car to explore and a pool if you just want to relax at the B&B. Dont think you will find a better option."

"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

The problem is the apartment itself; entry is in very bad shape, restroom is not in the room, breakfast consists of packaged pastries that are not very fresh. Stairs to reach room are steep and difficult for elderly people. Handicapped accessibility is non existent. "

"It’s located a few kilometres away from Massafra city centre. As we had a rental car with us, it was very easy for us to get there. The area is very quiet and safe. The property has several types of room. This b & b seems to be quite open for a couple and family. We stayed in the double room. It’s very spacious and clean. The wifi was very weak. The connection keeps getting cut off. "

It was Maundy Thursday the street was packed to enter the church, i couldn’t drive to the castle sq, not a free parking area, I have drive a further 100 m. The room on a narrow back street . Could nt use the tv, depleted battery controller. I was greeted by a handsome young man who can speak English "

"The Salento Winery Lodge has so much potential but there seems to be a few teething problems with staffing, processes and infrastructure. We had no working WiFi for the duration of our stay (3 days), the bath in the junior suite looks very welcoming, but the water wasn’t hot or powerful enough to be able to run a warm, let alone hot, bath. There were issues with the timing of our room being cleaned/not cleaned each day, and there was general disorganisation with staff during breakfast with...
