"Our group of four really enjoyed our two-night stay at the Blue Door Inn. While it's an older motel, it's obvious that it's well cared for. Both of our rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay after busy days exploring Estes Park. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we checked in. We also loved the location—it was close enough to downtown that getting to restaurants, shops, and Rocky Mountain National Park was quick and easy, yet it was still quiet and peaceful. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay with great service and a convenient location, the Blue Door Inn is a wonderful choice. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in Estes Park."

"This is a on the side of the road motel with the amenities of a simple family resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room itself was comfortable, remindnded me of my days living in the staff cabins at a camp. AC worked....but was a bit loud. The breakfast was good, just a lot of carbs, which we don't do, and are not desireable for a day of hiking. The outdoor seating for breakfast as well as the firepits in the courtyard looking at the mountains was so peaceful and relaxing. I would stay there again. On a side note.....Estes Park closes up really early. Most businesses closed by 6pm and restaurants by 8pm. A few ice cream stores stayed open to 9pm. Plan accordingly."

"Room was clean, even the carpet (and I am very picky about carpeted rooms) Front desk staff helpful, gave us dinner recommendations and had easy to follow instructions for us checking out very early. I liked being close to downtown without paying the premium since we’re hardly ever in our room. I deducted a star because the listing said Mountain View, however we were on the first floor and our window looked out to a staircase."

"Adorable place, clean, and close to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. As soon as we drove up, 3 little deer were on property which was amazing. Check in was easy, customer service was great, breakfast was nice, and overall I’d stay here again! The inside wasn’t anything fancy, felt like a cabin but it was perfect for a one night stay for our family of 5. The outside reminded us of Switzerland with the chalets and flowers which was very pretty!"
