Kompas Hotel is a modern and spacious hotel in Dubrovnik. The Old Own is around 15 minutes by bus. The hotel is well managed and the staff friendly and helpful.

This hotel is part of the Importanne Beach Resort and therefore you could use the facilities of the other hotels in the group. Although no actual beach there were towels and sun beds provided on a concrete area next to the sea. Our room was very good with a view over the sea, cleaned every day. The hotel have a boat were you can go on a trip around the coast and islands and a 360 degree tour of Dubrovnik old town, this was an excellent day out and was hosted by ‘Robi’ who was a great...

We stayed at hotel More three times in 2014 and it feels amazing each time we have been back there. The staff are very friendly, kind and extremely professional. They are always available to help and prepared to go the extra mile. The hotel truly provides a luxurious ambience that makes guests feel at home (home away from home)! The views from the hotel rooms are breathtaking and the crystal clear sea is just unbelievable. Some people including myself have not been too keen about hotel food but...

Very pleased with Hotel Neptune - nice clean room overlooking sea. We were on the 2nd floor with a lovely view. Quite location - staff very helpful, plenty of choice for breakfast, and a good choice for evening meals. There is a bus service just across the road in to the old town, which runs every 4 or 5 minutes, the fare is very cheap. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful, very modern and spotlessly clean. Great variety of breakfast.. rooftop pool area is fabulous, wonderful sunset view. The location is perfect, away from the busy old town but conveniently placed for the local bus and walking trails.

Felt like a VIP from entering hotel to leaving. Amazing hotel and staff.

Hotel was very lovely, with all good amenities, and easy dining opportunities along with courteous and helpful staff. My only small criticism, is that when B & B guests are on excursion trips, the breakfast boxes provided, should have less carbs and sugary treats and more protein such as nuts, pulses and eggs in them.

We did not have any issues and our stay went pleasantly. One day we stayed on the small beach what was nice. Myself being scared from swimming in the sea and the rocky beach is not for me even for the dipping my feet in, hence I loved the rooftop pool area what was surprisingly quiet with plenty sunbeds unoccupied all day long. Breakfast was fine, mostly the same every day, but all standard choices and tasted ok. One evening we did use hotel restaurant and that was completely fine. Room was...

The location is away from the chaos of the Old City, and yet convenient enough for public transport (busses and Uber easily available). From the airport, you can take the airport bus shuttle (only €10 per person) and ask the driver to stop in front of Tommy supermarket. from there, it's a very short distance walk to the hotel. Staff was professional and attentive. Room and amenities are top-notch. Breakfast was sufficient and varied. We loved it!

Room was amazing, fit and finish was up there with the best. Sea views are simply perfect (although garden view rooms looked a bit :( Food was some of the best in Croatia, although most visitors simply had room & breakfast. Bus to Dubrovnik is so easy & reliable from hotel (don't even think of driving) and runs till 2am. The staff are some of the best out there, even bringing back out the fruit selection because we came down to breakfast late.... They simply are such nice genuine people....

The hotel is a relatively new ( less than 3 years) built and the facilities are quite modern. It overlooks a bay with stunning views. We had a sea view room and enjoyed every bit of it. The hotel is located in Srebreno, which is about 20 minutes by road and 25 minutes by boat taxi from the old city of Dubrovnik. We went to the Old City by boat taxi and returned late by Uber. We recommend Uber in Dubrovnik. It is a lot cheaper than the local licensed taxi. The hotel's location was also convenient...

Good choice for visit to Dubrovnik or cruise terminal. Staff were helpful and efficient. We especially appreciated the pool guy who removed towels from sun beds if folk had reserved them but had not used them for half an hour or so. The breakfast was very good and plentiful and all the staff were very welcoming . Our room had a small balcony as requested and was very comfortable and quiet. Bus into the Old Town is close by, easy and frequent.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. They had read our request asking for a quiet room and duly provided one. The room itself was a good size with a small balcony, tea & coffee making facilities which was a nice bonus, and a hook in the bathroom to hang up your dressing gown etc while you shower (many a hotel don't have one). The air conditioning worked well too. The reception staff also provided us with information and a map about what there is to see in the area, where to eat, buses to catch...

I stayed at the Uvala Hotel for one week. It has a beach within walking distance, has a indoor swimming pool and public transport down the road to travel to the Old Town. The food and service was excellent and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were given a sleek, spacious 2 bed apartment ( we had booked a 1 bed) with a modern kitchen and an extensive bathroom with bath, shower and washing machine plus regular housekeeping. There was a large balcony, too, where you could get a sideways glance at the sea and the spectacular sunsets. Two nice touches - a full fruit bowl on arrival and chocolates on departure. Staff were always friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English The apartment is above a well stocked supermarket...

Lovely hotel and room. Only thing i wasnt happy about was that our room was in the anbex building on ground floor so no view, and i do love a view. Residents bar closed a little early I thought. Also really missing a nice outdoor pool or sun deck but otherwise a really good hotel in a grest location.

Tremendous views from the restaurant and cafe bar, very pleasant staff and chamber maids. Good food and nice selections at the bar of local beers etc. Swimming pools indoor and out. Excellent bus service to the Old town a 3A and a 3 takes you right there and back. Wished there had been tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also we went to use the Jacuzzi and the water was very cold. Not what we expected.

The hotel was very well laid out, clean, well furnished, very comfortable beds, fantastic shower. The restaurant was wonderful, delicious food, extremely helpful and friendly staff. The bar staff were also equally amazing and kind. The grounds were impeccable with lovely plants and the private beach a joy to swim from and take in the surrounding beauty. My only criticism is the music was not so great .

Used this apartment as a 10-day holiday base for visiting, primarily Dubrovnik but Split, Kotor, Montenegro and Mostar, Bosnia with self drive car hire as well. Local supermarket and bakery provided for breakfast on the balcony, lunch out and mostly restaurant dining in the evenings. Restaurant prices are not much different to UK-anything between £50 and £120 for 2-3 courses with a good (Croatian) bottle of wine, of which there is a fantastic choice. Using the 7-day Dubrovnik Card paid for...

Large hotel but well spaced out so you never feel crowded. Easy taxi ride or bus to the Old City but far enough out to get away from the crowds (especially cruise liners !) with good choice of bars and restaurants nearby.
