We had an amazing weekend. Wendy was lovely and incredibly helpful. The room was really nice and the breakfast was excellent and her recommendations were really helpful!

Great hospitality, nice location, and a hearty breakfast make this a very appealing place for the money. The rooms are comfortable and they keep a very tidy house, as well. Highly recommended.

Nice quiet location close to downtown.

Wendy is an exceptional host. Nice rooms and newly installed bathrooms in room. Great breakfast made to order. Quiet location yet walkable to restaurants. Easy street parking.

We returned yesterday from a great five days in Edinburgh. The Cameron B+B was fab. Very comfortable, spacious and spotless! Wendy was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. .providing travel tips, bus info and even lending us a blanket to use when we watched the Miltary Tattoo. The B+B is a bus ride into the city centre, no 33 which you can catch just around the corner. Would definitely stay there again.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits en famille dans ce b&b. Il est bien placé, dans une ruelle calme. Hors du centre-ville, mais proche de plusieurs arrêts de bus (de 1 à 10 minutes de marche suivant la ligne) pour aller au zoo ou dans la vieille ville. La chambre était agréable, propre et bien équipée. Le déjeuner à la carte était très bon. La douche pourrait être améliorée (rideau qui ne va pas jusqu'au fond = de l'eau un peu partout).

Very nice BB close to Bus

This was the first time we stayed at a B&B . It was like being home away from home with special attention. Wendy was fabulous, so friendly, beautiful person, helpful and very accommodating. Her family was also very very nice. Inspite of Wendy experiencing a family emergency, she showed none of her personal pain, but just her wonderful attention to all her guests. I thank her very much for making our holiday special.

Wonderful Low Cost B&B

Beautiful rooms, great food, and good conversation. The owner is very helpful, open, and friendly. I would happily come here again. Recommend!

Excellent B&B close proximity to town

Excellent B&B, the owner was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was a nice size with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this b&b!

Very nice bed and breakfast

I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at the Cameron B&B. The room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. My hosts made sure I had everything I needed. She went above and beyond by having breakfast ready very early so I could catch my train and looking up bus schedules for me.

Gutes Frühstück. Nette Gastgeberin. Alles in allem nichts wirklich auszusetzen. Insgesamt doch recht weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Preis/ Leistung nicht angemessen. 114 EUR/Nacht doch recht teuer.

Die Straßenbezeichnung stimmt nicht!

Alles perfekt bis auf die Straßenbezeichnung stimmt nicht. Wäre sinnvoll das zu ändern. Alles andere wie gesagt perfekt. Sehr nette Inhaberin, tolles reichhaltiges Frühstück, Zimmer sauber mehr kann man nicht erwarten.

Great breakfast

Small single room with separate bathroom. This was fine for me a single traveller for one night. Tea and coffee and biscuits in the room. Very friendly. Great breakfast!

Nice comfy place

Probably not going to say anything which hasnt already been said before, Wendy is awesome. She really made my stay very comfortable. Everything was well organised, breakfast was yummy, would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Edinburgh, its close to the main city as well.

Great place to stay.

Very good value friendly and clean with a great breakfast. Only slight negative was TV noise from the next room that went on until midnight and started again at five thirty in the morning. More a consideration issue from other gests.

Ein nettes und sehr zu empfehlendes B&B etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums in einer guter Wohngegend mit überaus freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Durch den sehr guten Nahverkehr per Bus und mehrerer in sehr naher Umgebung befindlicher Bushaltestellen lassen sich alle Ziele innerhalb Edinburghs problemlos erreichen.

Amazing First Week in Scotland for New Student

My stay was fantastic. The breakfasts were filling and delicious, the town was conveniently located with nearby food and shopping, and the room was very comfortable and cozy. But by far, the service was the best part of my stay. Wendy went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, offering directions, advice, and plenty of support as I looked for a permanent place to live. I would absolutely recommend this place, and would happily stay there again.

Outstanding hospitality and a very warm welcome!

For the past few years, I have stayed in the Peffermill area of Edinburgh for a nearby sporting tournament which typically coincides with the final weekend of the Fringe. The Cameron Bed and Breakfast is easily my pick of the B&Bs in the area. Wendy and family are extremely welcoming and accommodating. I myself did not particularly require any local information or advice, but the overseas guests were given excellent advice by Wendy and the level of service is certainly well above most B&Bs that I've stayed at. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to come back in the future!

Comforting

We just stayed for the one night. Our welcome by the owner was very pleasing and the room was delightful. Unfortunately, I became sick during the night and as soon as he was able, he went down and asked the owner for various items to help me out. She was most helpful and allowed me a few more hours to sleep. My husband said the breakfast was lovely.

Nice bed and breeafast. Easy access to bus

Wendy, the owner, is very hospitable. A wonderful home cooked breakfast every morning at 8:30 am. Easy access to bus which takes you downtown in 10 minutes. She arranged cabs when we needed. One at 4 am to airport and packed breakfast to go and was up to say goodbye. The rooms could be updated a little but you don't even think of it anymore after first day. You feel like you are visiting a family friend. Price is very reasonable, especially since we were there during the festival month. I would recommend this to anyone passing through for a few days. Salisbury Arms is a nice restaurant to have lunch and dinner and is a 10 minute walk to hotel. A nice way to end the evening and walk home.

Charming B&B

This is a family owned B&B. They are absolutely delightful! Very accommodating, very warm and friendly and very helpful. We checked in late and the proprietor made sandwiches for us because we hadn't eaten and there weren't any restaurants open at that hour. We had custom ordered breakfast the next morning. The place is very clean and quiet. It's not very close to the city center but if you want to see a different section of the city, more local feeling, then this is the place.
