Very basic but functional and served the purpose of breaking up the journey from Perth to The Midlands. Pretty noisy at night with people leaving the pub next door. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room price was fair but pub food & drink a little overpriced for the portions provided. Having an ASDA and McDonald’s in the door step was very useful for sure and it’s right on the A1

Pine Marten was clean and comfortable. Good for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good. We had an evening meal next door in the restaurant. Fish and chips were fine but the chicken was very dry and tasteless.

Handy location for the A1 road but not so good for walking into the town. Room was comfortable but basic furnishings. Food was ok but a bit disappointing at times.Staff were very friendly and helpful

Because the pub and restaurant are separate from the accommodation block, there was no noise which was just perfect for us. Breakfasts were well cooked, fresh, and very tasty. Dunbar was a lovely town with independent shops, cool harbour area, and lots of accessible information for the tourist.

Lovely hotel stay
Nice hotel good location to Dunbar, 20 minute walk, located right next to a supermarket. Down side no way to turn extractor fan off in the bathroom so it runs 24/7

Excellent hotel in a good location
We stopped at the Pine Marten for 2 nights. The hotel is in a very convenient spot and was well located for us. Our room was fine - clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities necessary. Check in and check out was easy. We had a ground floor room with level access. The staff at the hotel and associated pub were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and they were very keen to make sure that my food allergies were catered for. A good hotel 👍

Good choice , all basic needs met well .
Very good pub attached accommodation. Simple but efficient layout , access and facilities all good . Attached pub , good service and standard of food . Manager was very polite and professional . Hired an EV while there so on site charging was a bonus
