"We recently finished a vacation to New Mexico and Northern Colorado, and by far my most difficult choice of hotel was Albuquerque - but I'm glad I made the right decision! As I worked to balance cost with quality and location, I came across the Best Western on North I-25. I originally planned to stay closer to downtown, but this worked out perfectly well for the attractions around the area. The location was right off the highway, but we didn't have any issue with it being too loud or any difficulty accessing the property. First and foremost, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and actually seemed to enjoy their jobs. There was an obvious attention to detail that helped make this facility better than expected. It was clean, well-maintained, and the amenities met to our needs. Breakfast wasn't anything too fancy, but it was good enough for this level of facility. There was a pool on site that looked nice, but unfortunately we ran of time to use it. The room was spacious enough and in good shape. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and there was plenty of lighting and power - specifically, there was plenty of working USB outlets, which came in handy for our usage. My one complaint: The cable-TV system was low quality, but the TV accomodated streaming capabilities, which would meet to most people's needs these days. Luckily, the AC system made up for that deficiency and was very handy in the heat. We will definitely return when we are back in Albuquerque."

"Not a bad place. A couple of very minor downsides though. The water pressure in the shower is very low and the coffee and tea area had no sugar or creamer available and there were no bottles of water or anything to drink in the room. I guess you have to be a member or something. There was a microwave and small refrigerator however. Very close to shopping and restaurants at Abq Uptown and Coronado Mall. The free breakfast was good but not great. Scrambled eggs (probably instant type), sausage, biscuits and gravy for hot selections. Cereal, fruit, toast/bagels and a large bowl of self serve plain yogurt for cold options. Coffee, tea, milk, and juice to drink. The maids did not speak English (Spanish only) so communication was limited if you needed anything. Overall not a bad place but I think there are better places for the same or less price."
