Beautiful building inside and out. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a comfort room and it was very big. The bed was super comfy and a fantastic delicious breakfast. So much choice and the scrambled eggs were delicious.
The subway is a few mins walk and gets you everywhere easily. We found the subway easy to get around. From the airport you need the green line (S1) and change at central to the red (U2) to the hotel. Easy!

Hotel was amazing... only problem was, in the evening around the bar area i was told i could not wear shorts, even though it was so hot in hamburg during our stay and i was a guest staying at the hotel. I was made to go and change attire or i could not be around the bar. I have never experienced this before.

Brilliant hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.
Food and cocktails from the bar were brilliant (Denis the bar man in particular was a real asset to the hotel)
In terms of location, its out the way of the craziness of the Reeperbahn and city centre which we saw as a real bonus, but the train station is just at the end of the street which made traveling in to sightsee very easy.
