"We stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sault Ste. Marie and overall had a good experience. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. It felt modern and comfortable, and we appreciated having plenty of space to spread out after a long day of traveling. The only downside to the room itself was that the sheets were a little rough and not as comfortable as we would have liked. We did have an issue with the hair dryer, which was broken. I called the front desk but couldn’t get an answer. My husband went downstairs to request a replacement, but the front desk was dealing with a line of guests and didn’t have staff available to bring one to the room. To their credit, they called us back as soon as they were able to get another hair dryer, and my husband was able to pick it up. The hotel is located on a busy street, and we could hear some road noise from our room, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or request a room away from the road if possible. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated and always a nice perk when traveling. However, some of the more popular items, like the eggs, were empty fairly early and weren’t immediately replenished. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered good value for the price. A few operational improvements would make the experience even better, but we would consider staying here again when passing through Sault Ste. Marie."

"This was one of the cleanest hotels we stayed at during our road trip. The property was immaculate from top to bottom, and even my very tidy wife was impressed. The hotel was also quiet, which made for a comfortable and restful stay. Its location was convenient for visiting the Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site, making it an excellent base for exploring the area."

"Really really really bad smell in the elevator... other then that the stay was flawless. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Would stay again, just hope the elevator situation gets handled. Rooms are clean and staff handled situation. Still would recommend :) happy travels."

"The hotel was nice and well-located. Outdoor Smoking section was right near our room and people were smoking well outside of the area so it was annoying and you could smell it in the stairway, halls and when we tried to open our windows. The rooms were spacious, however the one drawback was the small bathroom."
