"Beautiful hotel in the very heart of the city. We were able to walk to restaurants, ancient ruins, shopping and other area attractions. Great location. "Overall, we had a good stay at Grand Hotel Villa Politi. The hotel has a beautiful historic character and was very clean. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of both continental and traditional Italian options. The swimming pool was another great highlight. Its location was very convenient for travelling by car, just outside the ZTL, with on-site parking available. However, the hotel has quite a lot of stairs, which can make getting around less convenient, and we found the staff could have been more helpful and attentive. Overall, a good option for exploring Syracuse, especially for travellers arriving by car."

But it smells a little weird in the entire place and you have to walk a couple of blocks to the only restaurant we could find. There might be others, but we got in late around 22:00 and there didn’t seem to be a lot open. The restaurant we found was great and the pizza was amazing!"
