"A beautiful, historic hotel smack-dab in the middle of Salem, walkable to shops, dining, ghost tours, Witch Museum(s), and what-have-you. Very easy, free parking directly adjacent. Excellent breakfast, professional desk staff. People that complain about the shower and toilet/basin being situated in separate, small rooms likely haven't traveled in Europe. We had no problem with this, and it's fine with me if the shower doesn't steam up the mirror you need to shave in front of. "

"Great location, very walkable. Only comment I have to make, I booked a “courtyard” view room, the view was of the hotel interior hallway, no outside view so wasn’t really worth the extra dollars over a room without a window. I wasn’t in the room much so didn’t matter to me. Otherwise hotel was great, very nice staff, big comfortable room and even had the tennis channel on TV which was a big plus for me. I would stay here again. "
