This must be one of the most interesting hotels to stay in all the world with this amazing theme of story telling. Everything about it was fabulous from checkin to checkout. Quiet and secluded. Wallaby visited the rear garden each morning

Beautiful old home with a fascinating history all documented in books available to read. Owner Stan was so helpful, enjoyed good chats and the service was great - ample breakfast in lovely dining room with drinks available all day. Use of kitchen also throughout the day to prepare own food if wanted. Easy bus ride into Hobart if no car. Would 100% recommend.

Love the apartment, with sunset view and the bay

Everything is good. That's why we chosen to stay here again (last November we also stayed here).By the way, it's location is near Airport.

Valet parking was excellent Very clean room and friendly staff

Metered street parking is available, but at A$35 per night we took advantage of the hotel’s valet parking...

Individually styled delightful and comfortable ‘Gardeners Cottage’

A wonderful hotel. Ash and all the staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The help yourself breakfast was just perfect too.
