"We had a really disappointing experience. The bed sheets were visibly dirty, and we didn’t feel comfortable staying at all. We ended up leaving, but the hotel still refused to issue a refund. Very poor customer service and lack of basic cleanliness...would not recommend."

"We stayed here as a family and chose Embassy Suites because we’ve generally had reliable experiences, especially with the included breakfast. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed, which we appreciated. However, this one was somewhat disappointing. The biggest concern was the breakfast on our first morning, I saw a roach in the muffins, which completely turned me off from eating there for the rest of our stay. There were also a few maintenance and upkeep issues. The washing machines on our floor were not working, and we had to go down multiple floors just to dry towels, which was inconvenient. Additionally, there was a small hole in the couch, and the patio furniture showed noticeable wear and tear and could use updating. Overall, while the stay was okay, these issues made it fall short of what we typically expect from Embassy Suites, especially for the price. "

"From the moment my family & I checked in, I had a great experience. I was greeted by Sergio he was very helpful & polite. The room was clean & bed was very comfy. The microwave & fridge came in handy. My grandkids had a blast in the pool & hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was so delicious, they served eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt. I can go on & on. Overall my stay was awesome. I will definitely be coming back the next time the family is in Carlsbad for legoland."

"We were very pleased with our stay. Kids loved the pool and our room offered all the comforts of home. Staff was very friendly and if we had questions the text messaging feature helped us get quick answers. We were also notified of special events and check out procedures via text to keep us informed at all times. "

"Check in was smooth. I asked for an extra water but it wasn't delivered. No one explained how to get out of parking lot at the end of our stay and the gate tried to collect money from us even though we already paid. I ended up running back to the front desk and then they just told me to hit the help button. The pool was nice and warm and clean. Would have liked a hot tub. "
