"The soundproofing in this hotel is very poor; I could hear everything from the hallway and neighboring rooms. Also, the curtains barely block any light, making the room far too bright in the morning. To make matters worse, the mattress was sagging in the middle, which was quite uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you value a good night's sleep."

"The rooms here are very spacious, the cleaning staff and front desk staff are excellent and helpful. Especially love the dog friendliness of this motel. There are two nearby parks with trails Felicita County Park and Kit Carson. Both good for kids activities and Kit Carson has disc golf and a sports center. Loads of shopping and grocery stores within a mile. Stay on the second floor for a quieter experience. "

I did have to get them to show me how the ceiling fan worked, but they were more than happy to do it :) Would have been nice if the pool was headed, we did visit in February, and it was colder than I was hoping.
