"The place is beautiful, but the beds are hard as a rock and the pillows are the cheapest money can buy. I don't know who decided to put check-in at the back of the property and the rooms in the front building, but that seemed dumb to me. The staff there are incompetent. Trying to redeem my free breakfast was comedy of errors that took 15 minutes and 4 workers to figure out. in the end, we only got one breakfast out of the two. if it were better run and had better beds, this place would be great. But it is not!"

"The staff was fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and always willing to help. This seems to be a lost art today at most places but not Hawks Cay Resort. The resort was beautiful and very peaceful. It was clean and offered many amenities. We needed a relaxing and refreshing get away and we got it at Hawks Cay Resort."

"Resort fee per day that was not visibly worth it. ..pool area needed some significant TLC. Daily parking fee even for those staying at hotel. Extremely lack luster breakfast that was only available 8-10am. No microwave in room. No on site grill. No swimming area other than pool."

"This place has a beautiful view! The rooms were clean and had a mini fridge plus another refridgerator the made it great for snacks and drinks. I had a king bed and the mattress must have been there since the beginning of time! Lumpy with hollows worn into it. The pool was very close to the ocean, plenty of chairs and umbrellas. At the end of my week stay a big family checked in for a BD party. They were loud, basically took over the pool area blasting music and eating in the pool! It would not deter me staying there again however the hot tub was always broken which was a drag and the food at the restaurant next door (Havana Jack's) was terrible. (Just go there for the drinks) The dead bolt on my room (202) did not work which was a little concerning."
