Good resort for families. Great pool, excellent gym. Public facilities are very good. Our room was big but furniture was old and a bit battered, no coffee machine, thin towels. Good mattress. Overall, a nice resort with 5-star facilities and 4-star rooms.

This is an excellent, luxury resort that was perfect for a winter break in the sun. Our apartment was huge and well maintained, the pool area was lovely with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and the restaurants were very good. Obviously the food wasn't cheap, but I didn't think it was crazy expensive and it was high quality. The staff were also very professional and helpful. The only thing I'd say to new visitors to Dubai is don't underestimate how long it can take to get off the Palm at certain times of day or how far the Palm is from some of the sites. That said, it's a far more mellow location than some other parts of the city so it worked for us. I'd stay here again for sure.
