Great Location for travelling on metro but nothing else around the broader area. We rented a 1bedroom apartment for a family of 4 and although the furniture was ok, we were under the impression we would get 2 beds in the bedroom but it was just 1 bed. The kitchen was very incomplete. There were no glasses, only 1 cup, 1 small plate, and 2 bowls and large plates. There was 1 pan and a pot but nothing else. Even the cutlery had missing pieces. No teatowel or sponge or dish detergent provided. We had to keep asking for 2 extra towels each day for our kids. The kids club is a bit of a stretch to call it that. It’s a room with some teddy bears and a ball pit. The pool are was decent. the room was cleaned daily. Catching the lifts during peak times is also a long waiting game if you are in the lower to middle levels.

Lovely location perfect for allll off main areas to see off Dubai love the idea off free parking as we had a car on hire
Breakfast was great lots off options,
Thank you
Next to a redline metro station so easy to travel to other parts of Dubai. Large rooms and suites. 2 taxi ranks outside. Plenty of supermarkets, a petrol station and a 24 hour Burger King within walking distance.
Check in was an essay in frustration, as I was assigned (for the first time in many stays) a smaller room without kitchen. When I asked to move, I was charged an up charge per night.
No VIP perks at all (upgrade nor early check in)
This following my attempt to check in at approx 1030a after calling the eve before to check it there was availability. So essentially, the rooms are available for check in & the Mercure now just charges customers for checking in to rooms that are vacant if the time is early. Of note is I left my room at 12 midnight instead of 11a and didn't get a credit lol)
All in all the property is adequate and the team is very very nice. The policies are clearly amiss and will be a key factor moving for me and my company.
Also of note is the cleaning needs to be stepped up. Range top and other aspects of the room are clearly being overlooked (dusting etc )
Again - the team is very helpful and I have a sense the new policies aimed at recouping losses during the pandemic will adversely impact customer experiences moving forward and result in loss of business
Really enjoyed our stay on arrival we were told we couldn't have our2 bedroom apartment until next day so we asked for 2 separate rooms and we were given 2 rooms on same floor near eachother and upgraded we kept these rooms for the whole of our stay. The hotel is comfortable and has everything you need. Was a little disappointed with the pool went to use it once and couldn't get a lonunger as its quite small apart from that i would recommend hotel and would stay again
