"This was such a great little space. It was so clean and so quiet. It was a few steps from a convenience store. I would recommend this place to others! "
"Gorgeous hotel with laods of history including castle ruins on property. The loch walk was beautiful and peaceful and there are options for row boat rental or fishing if you are keen. Breakfast was ample and tasty however the evening meal we rated average to a little disappointing especially for the price. That being said food options in the area are limited so we will probably do the dinner again on our next stay. "
An Spiris Accommodation at Dundreggan Rewilding Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay - entry was easy and without any fuss. The room is large and bed was great, ample power points with USB A and C.
We stayed overnight on the way to Loch Ness Marathon - will be back during the daytime to visit the rewinding centre properly, as it looked really interesting.
Good parking at the main car park, with EV chargers - a great perk in the not-so-well-served highlands "
"The Lovat at Loch Ness is a charming and stylish lakeside hotel. The property has two lovely lounges, even a grand piano, and is equipped with an elevator — a thoughtful touch. Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight: besides the classic Highland Breakfast, we tried the Kedgeree (smoked haddock with curried rice and poached egg), which was absolutely delicious and a wonderful Scottish surprise.
The hotel’s location in Fort Augustus adds to the experience. The town itself is full of character, with the Caledonian Canal locks right at the center — watching the boats rise and fall is like a slow, graceful performance. We only stayed one night but wished we had stayed longer to enjoy the rhythm and atmosphere of this beautiful place."
Bring the children to Great Glen Water Park and enjoy the excitement of this theme park in Spean Bridge. While in this relaxing area, you can savour the top-notch restaurants.
