"Lovely, well equipped, cosy little apartment ideally located for activities on Loch Ness and beautiful walks in a variety of terrain and easy reach of Fort Augustus and Inverness, some right from the doorstep. Lots of nice welcoming touches and the owners responded quickly to request for information. "This lodge is an absolute perfect getaway in the highlands. The staff is incredibly wonderful and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is pleasant. They helped us arrange transportation and always made sure we had a meal. If I have one complaint, it is only that they don’t have AC which can make for some warm rooms even with the windows open. I would recommend this lodge over and over!"

"First off, this is not a hotel, it's lots of apartments. There are no onsite Highland Club restaurants, room service food or anything like it. The apartments are full on, proper homes with kitchens so bring some food, even if it's just basic stuff. For food shopping and eateries you can walk into the town in a few minutes and get something to eat. The pub (The Lock Inn) was pretty good. There is a restaurant in the grounds of the house which provided food which was edible but you wouldn't rush back in a hurry. As for the Highland Club, it's beautiful. Everything was built and is maintained to the highest standard. The pool is warm and clean. The grounds of the property are extensive and beautiful. The Internet is fast and reliable, the onsite staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. So, if you're looking for a traditional hotel, think twice before booking. If you're wanting to stay somewhere with all the historical character combined with comfort and cleanliness then do book."

"The property has a combination of old and some refurbished rooms. We were initially given an older room, with limited wifi and the TV not working. After insisting with the staff they moved us to a refurbished room. The breakfast options are excellent. The staff is friendly and hard working. The location can serve as a good base for both Glencoe and Isle of Skye, although the drive to skye could get to be more than 6 hours in total. Overall a quiet and nice cozy hotel."
