"The morning hot breakfast was unfavorably poor. The afternoon check in person was super nice. But the morning check out staff person Akaiaya was unhelpful, very slow and l could have been talking to a robot! She made me late in leaving for an appointment. The extra fees and charges on my bill were excessively high. I would not stay again."

"I made reservations late night day before dates needed, date was 18 &19 , when i received confirmation Email dates were 17 & 18. I tried calling Hotel said it was 3rd part reservation they are unable to change anything. I checked internet for number to speak with a person all numbers were for IA which didn't understand my issue. Instructed me to cancel reservation and rebook, when attempted unable as it was less than 24 hrs required. I tried to explain to IA which didn't compute. In desperation I tried to extend reservation 1 night, because it was less than 24 hrs unable to make changes. I even tried making a 2nd reservation, IA wouldn't allow. I ended up paying for night i wasn't there and had to make a reservation at a different hotel. IA very frustrating, need to have real human available. Dont believe I will use H otel.com in the future."

"Everything was very clean, all bedding was high quality and the AC functioned properly. The pool was open and just the right temperature, and the made to order breakfast was fantastic. When I booked the room through hotels.com it automatically included the breakfast, which would have been $18 each otherwise. It was dog friendly with grass out front, which is unusual for Phoenix."

"Stained sheets. TV doesn't swivel so you can't watch it in bed. FILTHY couch. Grease stains everywhere. I wouldn't even sit on it. Live and dead bugs in the shower. Didn't shower while I was here, it was THAT gross. Toilet was so busted we had to call maintenance in to fix it just so it would flush. They did offer us to switch rooms but with 2 dogs, that wasn't the best solution. Refused to even attempt the pool because of the filth. Disabled our room keys BEFORE check out time (11am regular check out and we were guaranteed a late check out at 12pm, but the keys were disabled around 10:30am) so we got locked out when we took our dogs for a walk. Had to march my angry butt to the complete other side of the hotel to get them reactivated, all while my dogs were outside in 90° weather. Unacceptable. 1/2 extra star because the front desk staff is really nice (they can't help they work for a crappy hotel) and they do have a big real grass area for pets. But no bags in the pet station so there is dog waste everywhere. Stay anywhere else if you're looking to stay for more than 1 night."
