"Wow! I didn't see any photos of what it looks like when the parking lot is frozen and the temperatures were -40F. True Alaskan experience, and a nice place to base our tours out of. It was nice to be able to walk to the old town shopping and a few restaurants nearby. The BBQ place on the other side of the hotel building was AWESOME!"

"Excellent rooms. Love the microwave and ref. Made it a big difference during our stay as it was snowing out and buying food on a daily basis was hard. The staff are extremely friendly inspite of how short staff they seemed to be but managed the Hotel with a smile on at all times. From the front desk, breakfast people, shuttle airport drivers and maintenance crew were all fantastic. Only issue I had was on our second to the last night the hotel had experienced a fire alarm set off due to the cold weather causing issues with their heating system at the front entrance but there were other entrance and exits available so this was not a major issue. The closeness to a McDonald’s, Panda Express, Dominos Pizza and a Walmart made this hotel stay an A+++++"

"Excellent might be a stretch for some travelers, however, the room rate was lower than most. The hotel was a bit older but had a pleasant vibe and I liked the rustic ambiance of the lobby. The breakfast"

"Room was clean and well-decorated. Parking was easy and the unit was easy to access. Great place to stay!!"

"I need to give the maintenance team five stars. During my stay, I had an issue with the drain pipe. When the repair staff arrived and inspected, he immediately informed that it would be a lengthy and noisy remedy. He approached me and asked if I would agree with moving to another room. He immediately went downstairs and grabbed me the room key so I could begin moving my belongings. I admire how he works and thinks beyond the client. Thanks!! "

"Our stay was so off the charts amazing we're not sure how to even begin our review of the Bed and Breakfast ~ imagine being your grandmother's favorite grandchild and walking into her home and being embraced by the aroma of gingerbread cookies and every other smell that is so delicious it takes your breath away and then imagine being greeted by the proprietress {that would be Jill} and warmly greeted and welcomed to this amazing property that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places ~ taken on a tour of the beyond beautiful home then taken to your room that is even more perfect than the brochure shows and then awaken to the most delicious mouthwatering homecooked breakfast imaginable...joining the hosts Scott and Jill and other guests for breakfast ~ coffee and conversation memory making and good cheer! Jill and Scott thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being the beginning of our unbelievably amazing Alaska Arctic Journey ~ Bobby and Sharman"
