" We came to Tunisia as my partners sister was getting married and it was closer to where he lived in Telboulba .
Arriving on a Friday we checked in at 3pm and we was showed our room which I very disappointing . It was small dark and out dated room . The bed was very uncomfortable . The air condition was not working up to standard .
The next day we had to complain about the room and asked them to move us to a better room with a good location .
We viewed about 3 rooms which was all the same...

"Guests were mostly Russian and Eastern European plus some French mixed in, with almost no one speaking much English, so this made things somewhat uncomfortable in various ways. I've traveled in these regions before, and the all-inclusive buffet food was a bit weird and not so great. You walk into buffet and no one helps you figure out where to sit or offers you something to drink. Speaking of which, drinks were disappointing - for example, "fancy cocktails" at the pool turned out to be just...

"Très bon hôtel, personnel agréable et à l'écoute. Nous avons eu un souci dès notre arrivée (de nuit), notre chambre avait une odeur nauséabonde et la clim faisait un bruit infernal. Le lendemain matin nous avons pu changer de chambre.
Repas très bons et variés. Animation correcte."

The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond, at one point even helping us dry laundry we'd been drying in our room. We also enjoyed the breakfast on offer each morning

Stunning property that exceeded our expectations & is perfect in every way. From the owner who met us at the airport, took time to discuss our plans, provide practical advice, booked taxis & even a hotel for us that we hadn’t been able to contact for weeks! Located in a great part of Tunis, close to the airport (no noise), Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, restaurants, Lake Tunis & a lovely promenade.

Stunningly appointed heritage property with traditional details and palatial bedrooms. The rooftop pool with tropical foliage is delightful and the Dar itself is stylishly decorated. The breakfast with cheeses and fresh fruits is also highly recommended, along with the chilled ambience and poolside music.A tranquil hidden gem.

Friendly helpful staff. Constantly checking we are satisfied and had everything we needed.
Good location near beach and shops. Marsa is a nice town with a wide range of shops ands eateries.
Breakfast needs more variety, it got a bit boring after a week.
Gymn was basic but functional.
Pool was very nice with great views.

For Tunisia, Sousse, this is as good as it gets. Lovely hotel, nice varied food and great staff; especially Jamal and Karim (at the main bar) and Moncif (in the buffet restaurant) and the animator Amine (absolutely fantastic staff!).
Rooms are lovely and clean, however depending on the time of year (I've stayed a few times) you get a lot of pensioners, so the hotel is quite dead in the winter months, but you'd get that everywhere in Sousse. Overall it's the best hotel in Sousse, better than...

We have just returned from a trip at the Movenpick Gammarth hotel, and we honestly cannot say enough good things about our stay. Instantly, from the moment we arrived the service was incredibly professional but so warm and welcoming. The hotel itself was lovely; we loved coming back from a day out to relax in the spacious lobby or take a walk around the lush grounds. Eating our breakfast whilst looking out over the sea was something to look forward to every morning, and having multiple spots...
