"It was an ok stay. I arrived there and directly ask for money, I couldn't pay with card, asked to pay later after I withdrew money and said I couldn't, said they i couldn't pay with 100 dollar bill and managed to find money to pay then but lacking 1 dollar which I asked to pay later and they said no. "

"I understand the country has blackouts, but the hotel doesn't have a backup power generator; not even for the reception; therefore, there is no lights for the Wi-Fi. The hotel obtains the water from the water well by pump; therefore, because there is no power, there is no water for the toilets, showers, etc. The hydromassage pool water was cold."

"The water temperature in the rooms does not regulate well, extremely hot then will go to extremely cold. The area above the city is beautiful, breakfast was excellent, beds are comfortable. You need transportation to get into town. "

"Lovely hotel in Banos! Super safe, totally walkable area and town. The hotel is 2 min walk to the hot springs. The hotel clerk is wonderful and helpful! Hotel room was great and bathroom was really great. It included a great little dessert the night we checked in and then a wonderful breakfast in the morning. "

"This was my first time staying at a Socialtel since Selina folded. The experience was exactly like Selina - other than the branding it was exactly the same. Value for the price was good. Room and bedding was comfortable. Hygiene products were provided in the bathroom. The common spaces (lounges, coworking space, rooftop) were all really nice. "

"Our hosts, couldn't do enough for us, they were helpful and friendly, the breakfast & dinner were excellent. The rooms were spacious and comfortable if a little dated, but that did not deter from the pleasureable stay. A good location for exploring the area."

"Nice little place up the hill from the center. Good value for money, can’t top that. Hot water takes a minute to start but it’s there. The hill is steep but you could taxi it if you want. Front desk people were very kind and helpful. I wish they had a room with a kitchenette. Otherwise it was great. "
