"This was in a convenient location and had all I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff was very professional, kind, and helpful. A nice breakfast was included in the stay; nothing fancy, but it served its purpose. The only constructive criticism would be that the mattress was a bit tired and could use replacement (in my opinion). I would definitely stay here again!"

"This is an amazing venue. However it is quite old and I'm sure requires constant maintenance. If your looking for modern chic, this is not for you! If you appreciate Old World charm, and are willing to look past some flaws this is a lovely place. The setting is wonderful. Beautiful walking or jogging paths throughout Saratoga State Park are right there at your doorstep. A great Golf Course is directly adjacent to the property, Also the large Victoria Pool is located directly behind the hotel. While your hotel stay gives you free access to the Pool, remember this is a public park(and pool). If I could make one suggestion to modernize, I would suggest removing the tubs in the bathrooms and replace them with walk in showers! For an establishment that draws so many seniors, this seems no no brainer !!!"

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lake George

"Check-in was pleasant. The room seemed very clean, even though the property is a little dated. The bed was comfortable. I left the AC off because it was a cool night. When I turned the heat on for a minute to warm up the room a bit, it emitted a burning smell, so I quickly shut it off and opened a window to improve the air quality. Shower water pressure was not the greatest. Adequate toiletries. The room was too near the ice machine and the elevators, which made a loud, melodic noise every time it arrived. Lots of very noisy little kids running in the hallways and a dog barking was a few times after 11 pm. I was glad I was not yet asleep. Didn't eat breakfast there because it was packed with people and things felt picked over even with 45 minutes left. I am sure it was hard to keep up with the crowd! They seemed to have some protein choices, which was nice, but I was in a hurry and the lines were long and no seats left at tables. They were running out of things. Out of creamers. No water for the tea, or milk for the tea /coffee near the end. I went to a nearby Starbucks instead rather than fight the crowd. I would stay there again because the price was reasonable and the room felt clean. I would definitely go down to breakfast earlier next time though!"

"This is a very nice hotel only a mile from the Saratoga Springs downtown. Included are useful amenities such as shuttle bus service to all local points of interest including the downtown and racetrack, a complementary breakfast with a very good selection, an outdoor pool, and a pleasant lobby/reception area. The rooms are clean and well maintained with just one shortcoming. While the bathrooms are clean and modern, the shower enclosures could use some attention. Judging by the 2 rooms booked by myself and our friends, the enclosures had some discoloration from water stains along the joints in the walls; nothing horrible but visually unappealing. Aside from that one issue, the hotel is very nice and I would reserve a room there for a future visit."
