One of the best

Booked the hotel when attending our son's graduation, wanted something out of town with a restaurant. The hotel did not disappoint, as the hotel only has 5 rooms it has a nice friendly atmosphere, decor in the rooms is modern, the room was very spacious, excellent comfy bed and a very nice breakfast. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant, which was very good and nice to try something different with the South African dishes.

Had a one night stopover, room was spacious and very clean with a super comfy bed. Breakfast next morning was excellent, plenty of choice.

Beautiful hotel, recently renovated which means they have state of the showers, beautiful throws and proper duvets, spotless white gorgeous bedding, fantastic decor throughout the hotel. The rooms are separated slightly from the fullers pub with a separate entrance. The hotel is easy accessible via the eighth floor of the adjoining car park, which takes you straight into the hotel reception. The hotel is very clean and stylish, however we wasn’t aware that it was very high up. We was on the 16th floor and my son was very scared to look out of the bedroom window or go into the lift. This is a gastropub with new accommodation in what appears to be an old stable block behind, stylishly and sensibly converted. The bed, bath and other facilities were excellent -- and the food even moreso. The bar is well-stocked and the manager knowledgeable about the spirits, the waiting staff are efficient and unobtrusive, and the menus imaginative and well-executed. Beautiful property and perfect location. Plenty of parking available inside a gated courtyard. Owners greet you, show you to your apartment and provide you with all the needed codes. The apartment was spotless, well decorated and had everything you could need, including toiletries, tea, coffee and cooking equipment. The owners were friendly and even provided recommendations for local shops and cafés. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great initial welcome from Mike, backed up by some wonderful idiosyncratic features that uplifted the stay. Complimentary Sipsmiths Sloe Gin in the room, choice of two single malt whiskies (also complimentary) and freshly brewed coffee at the refreshments station were unexpected and warmly enjoyed! Easy quick check-in. Room average size with good size bed. Bathroom good, tea/coffee facilities excellent. Steak meal was excellent.

This is a truly charming and welcoming place. We arrived in the very early hours, almost at dawn, having flown in to Gatwick on a slightly delayed flight. Booked in advance and having contacted the owner they arranged everything perfectly for us, including adding an extra bed which was made up in advance and looked very cosy. Wonderful location on the river and lovely old building. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds comfy with high quality sheets and pillows. I slept so well! The pub serves brilliant bar food and the restaurant is top class. Highlight - amazing breakfast! The eggs benedict was perfect
