"Property was lovely, excellent service however it was that time of year in the North that the seaweed took over the beach. The hotel tried to contain it but the smell was overwhelming. "

"Everything was great. Only downside was the beach chairs and umbrellas. The guy running it starts at like 830am at 730 there already a line of people waiting for them, only 20 umbrellas with 2 chairs each and they are share with the all inclusive resort next door, so 80% of people that get them does not even stay at the royal islander. Also umbrella guy is very unfriendly set up chairs and umbrella super slow takes about 1hr 30mins to set them all up. Unless your tip him he will do all umbrellas first then put out chairs last. Also closing time is 5pm he will tell you that, but then at 3:45 to 4pm we will start taking all the umbrella out the sand and packing them up to go."

"The hotel was so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Super close to the hotel and walking distance to many restaurants. Our poolside waitress Gabriela Paun was phenomenal, always very attentive whenever we were at the pool area. The massage from the hotel was also amazing. "

"The Holland House is an excellent hotel. I want to give a shout out to some special people who help me Diana an excellent manager she help me with setting up dinner, sunset cruise, taxi to the hotel and decor in our room. Luisanne excellent in decorator, words can't express how happy I am with the room decor. Matilda the taxi driver who did the island tour with us and took us back to the hotel, very knowledgeable and spiritual and positive human being. I love Matilde so much such a delightful person and her spirit really touches you. Let's not forget the excellent personality and waiter in dietary Keisha, she is excellent always greet with a smile and came to serve and make sure you were good. The female bartender I don't know her name, but she been there a year is excellent and is definitely made for the Holland House Beach Hotel. I cannot forget Ms Queenie, the local who I got to meet, have her give massage and buy some items from her. She is a doll and very positive spirit is just a joy.Alot of names I cannot remember but the service and decor are definitely superb. You get STAR 5 in my book, if I am every in St. Maarten again, I am staying at the Holland House Beach Hotel. Thank you all, you are great and I am glad I got to share memories for my husband 60th Birthday in your resort."
