Lovely hotel in a great location to the centre with nice rooms and great breakfast. However, Sao Tome has frequent power cuts and the hotel does not have a generator which means you could be out hours or even without any electricity or internet. This isn't great for paying guests.

Amazing relationship with the ocean and with the vegetation. Dinner was somewhat expensive but the breakfast was very good and included in the rate

Very friendly and helpful people. Great spot. It is out of the city so a good 'get away'. But you need your own vehicle.

I was intrigued to see a little bit of the second smallest country in Africa, and learn a little about its religions and history; so I booked to stay in Hotel Central from Monday November 9th through Friday November 13th. My expectations were neither too high nor too low but in reality the visit was one of the best I've had in years.
