This Hotel is a family business and you can tell by the care that is taken in making it a special place. We have stayed here a few times and always had a great time. This time we experienced the aperitivo in their lovely American bar 'Insolito', buzzing with people sipping Aperol Spritz and cocktails. We've heard that the restaurant here offers excellent food but we haven't tried it yet. The free use of the swimming pool is definitely a plus when staying in one of their rooms. Can't fault anything with the hotel. However, we were there midweek in February. If you don't like crowds or children, don't go near it at the height of summer. It's surrounded by a huge campsite and you'll be living in the middle of what is basically a holiday camp! It's also very busy at weekends with Italian trippers.

The booking only came through as Bor Annex so we spent a lot of time looking for that hotel. It is actually an annex block to the Convent Hotel and I believe it may also be called Adria Hotel.
Confusion over we were in an apartment block just a hundred metres from the main hotel, The room facilities were clean and pleasant. We were a group visiting on a football trip in February. Our aim was to be in Koper which was about 7 km away.
We only had bed and breakfast 2 nights. A more than...
