"We went there in order to go to the tanjung rhu beach without having to pay outrageous big hotel prices. Location was a scooter away from the 3 beaches (5-15 minutes) So worked out great! vehicle is a necessity there though! We went when super busy, so no scooters were available at the time, but i called in advance, so just rented at the southern part of island, and drove it there. Very nice hotel in a quiet area on 1.5kmts from the airport. Unfortunately this means that you have to travel to get to the beaches and nightlife. The buffet breakfast was good with many Asian choices and eggs fresh-cooked anyway you like. I recommend getting the Grab app as they were excellent for travelling around and very, very cheap. We spent four nights here. We stayed in a sea view studio. The room was large, the view was great. The roof pool and bar were really good, and there is a small beach close by, just ask and you’re taken there in a buggy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If we return to Langkawi, we will stay here again. Tips: Take your own shower gel as you only get shampoo and conditioner and use the Grab app for getting cabs.

We stayed for 2 nights at Fuuka. This villa is new, clean, modern, and I like it. Compare to most of hotels with the same budget, I think Fuuka gives a good stay. The location is in Jalan pantai tengah in the opposite of Tropical, and behind the sunkaraoke. I rent the the room without kitchen. Room and bathroom are very clean, 1 big window, and 1 corner window, and there's a terrace. Air con ok, water heater ok, hairdryer is available, kettle is available, but there is no complete toiletress....

We had an amazing 7 night stay at The Camar, the room was very comfortable and overlooked the great long pool, Breakfast was good, the staff were truly wonderful. The location is on a pretty beach on the edge of town, away from all the clamor but near enough for either a long walk or short taxi ride. The hotel run a scuttle service. There are pretty of restaurants and bars in the area. Would highly recommend

I stayed for 7 nights, this is a nice clean modern hotel, spacious bathroom with good shower, every room has its own seating area outside the room. It’s a unique experience to stay in an antique Malaysian home brought into 21st century comfort. Staff here are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. The food in the restaurant is the best we had on the island & the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. This is a really special place & if you want to get away from impersonal, standard hotel environments this is the place for you. We stayed in Black Coral & the room was beautifully furnished, stylish & comfortable.
