I travel for around 3 months each year and stay in a lot of five star hotels during my trips. The Datai Langkawi provided a very special experience indeed. From the amazing breakfast buffet, the landscaping, to the tours with the in-house naturalist, the Datai had it all!

What a lovely place to stay ! The staff were so lovely and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The villa was lovely and tranquil, with beautiful views of the paddy fields.

We had a great stay in April. We used the beach villa which was very comfortable for our family of four.

Amazing experience, staff were the kindest too and were super easy to communicate with overwhatsapp whenever needed. The location of this villa is also super convenient near pentai cenang the main street in langkawi and high up on the mountain so the views were amazing too. highly highly recommend. Shout out to Ummi and Hafiz for being so great in addressing all our needs <3

Looks exactly like the pictures lovely quiet unspoilt location with great pool and friendly staff, although the staff on the tour desk and reception could have been a bit more knowledgeable on the activities and local markets etc and how to settle the account at the hotel

We stayed at Temple Tree for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a more amazing stay. We were greeted with a drink and cookie upon check-in, then upgraded to a four-bedroom villa with a private pool which was incredible and so appreciated. We loved the history of the houses which were so unique but still beautifully decorated with everything you could need. We were even provided with insect repellent. Returned for my 4th visit after a 5 year break due to Malaysia being closed to foreign tourists. The hotel has been extensively renovated during the lockdowm so we spent much more time by the pool and the rooms were great. Miss the vibe of the Cba beach bar. The pelangi grill feels more like a restaurant than a bar. Stayed for 3 nights and noticed the buffets were smaller than before covid and the options were fairly consistent for the 3 nights we were there. Would have liked more variety...

The hotel itself is very new and well maintained, with an amazing view of the ocean. The staff are very exceptionally friendly and happy to accommodate questions and requests. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent four nights here. We stayed in a sea view studio. The room was large, the view was great. The roof pool and bar were really good, and there is a small beach close by, just ask and you’re taken there in a buggy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If we return to Langkawi, we will stay here again. Tips: Take your own shower gel as you only get shampoo and conditioner and use the Grab app for getting cabs.

Beautiful island, great hotel, fantastic restaurant, helpful & friendly staff. I can’t praise this place highly enough. TBH the maintenance is slightly behind the curve (they had to fix the lights and hot water, but did so promptly). But if it was five star perfection the cost would reflect that.

Centrally placed to the Main Street in Pantai Cenang. Good selection of food at the buffet breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Extended Happy hour with BOGOF. Close to the airport and easy to get a Grab taxi (download the App first). Would definitely stay there again.
