Qambathi was absolutely stunning. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff who made sure our stay was all we expected and more. Nadia and Stephen are lovely hosts who really went out of their way to accommodate us with our pets. The rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely garden views. Forest walks and mountain views near by and the food was delicious too. We would definitely return to Qambathi again.

Great property in a wonderful location. Food was excellent, accomodation well designed, clean and comfortable and all staff were friendly and helpful. Good base for exploring the Royal Natal Park but don’t miss the walks on the property.

We had a short stay but thoroughly enjoyed it. If our son was older he would have thoroughly enjoyed the facilities. The staff were all very friendly as well.

Although it was very cold the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and provided a heater A bit disappointing was the restaurant was closed they required 24 hrs notice There was a excellent pub just 5 minute drive away The breakfast was very good again excellent staff provided a full English We had a lovely massage followed by a drink in front of a blazing fire and a very pleasant dinner

What a wonderful relaxing retreat. The accommodation was excellent, spotlessly clean and luxurious. The location of the hotel was easy to find and the surrounding area is stunning.the staff were extremely attentive and helpful.

This hotel is a superb gem in Salt Rock. It is very nicely decorated properly making you feel as if you are in Provence. The rooms are stunning and the communal areas are great. I loved that the top pool gets sun light all day long making it perfect for lounging and tanning. The breakfast is great - amazing fried eggs !! The staff is super helpful and always smiling. The property is very close to the beach and about 15 min walk to restaurants bars and a grocery shop so you are all covered. I...

This modern hotel with lovely rooms was great for our 2 night stay. Breakfast each morning was really nice and we ate in the restaurant both evenings which was also lovely. Our first night we were disappointed that the fillet steak on the menu wasn't available and mentioned this to the restaurant manager, who said he'd take care of it and true to his word, the next evening it was available. We stayed in a Cabana which was perfect for our little family of 4. We could eat in if we wanted and leave early for Safari without feeling like we'd wake anyone. Booked a lovely breakfast up on their decked balcony with amazing views over the trees looking out onto the river mouth. Great care is being taken to keep the eco-system working so whilst it was a pity that there were loads of trucks up at the beach you can appreciate what they are trying to do. Location location location! Just amazing! Lucky enough to stay there in July so saw whales and dolphins most mornings whilst enjoying breakfast. Lovely food, incredible staff, comfy rooms. Stay on the top floor if budget allows.
